Environmental Health Procedures and Publications

EHMS goes offline on the 24th February 2012 and will be replaced by the new ground-breaking RIAMS platform which will deliver many more benefits and greater control to our users. For more information click here or contact us to find out more. For current Users, migration will be seamless and there is no action required prior to the RIAMS launch. All Users will be contacted with details of workshops to introduce RIAMS and the new functionality it delivers.

EHMS and the common regulatory competence standards (LBRO)

EHMS supports local regulators using the RDNA self-assessment tool by providing information resources to help meet development needs identified. There are links to this site from GRIP in the core regulatory skills section, food and housing technical knowledge sections.

What is EHMS?

EHMS is a fully maintained system of procedures, documents and publications for most Environmental Health subjects. It is designed to support consistency, mobile and flexible working, and restructuring and outsourcing services. In early 2012 it is being expanded to cover Regulation generally and will be rebranded "RIAMS".

Save Money, Improve Productivity

EHMS can deliver payback in as little as 3 months and improve productivity, by cutting the duplication of effort in writing and maintaining procedures and other documents. The scope of our documents is continually growing because licence holders can request new documents at no extra cost. EHMS can be used to get more value from back office systems and simplify shared working arrangements.
