If you have an area of specialist knowledge within the sphere of environmental health , trading standards, fire safety and other regulatory service fields we are interested to hear from you.

Environmental Health Management Systems is continually developing and adding to its knowledge base and resources through professionals joining the EHMS panel. The panel is made up of authors and monitors who are specialists with expertise to help draft and maintain procedures and other content relating to their specialist areas. Ideally we are looking for professionals who are either 'doing the job' or who have up to date and practical knowledge. The range of expertise we need to call upon is wide, to name a few areas – from legal enforcement to animal health to public health to emergency planning to port health and pest control.

The work is well paid and flexible. Panel members find the work rewarding because we set tasks that are mutually agreed and achievable. If you are employed, for example by a local authority, the work can be completed at home. • The area of expertise for which you wish to be considered.
• Your current working arrangements and realistic weekly time availability to take on commissioned work. Typical commissions will take up to 4 hours/week which can be flexible and will vary from month to month.

To be appointed you will have to sign a contract with us and once appointed to the panel, commissions are not guaranteed.
